（七四〇） 37.
如是我聞。 Thus I have heard:
一時佛住舍衞國祇樹給孤獨園。 One time, the Buddha was staying at Anāthapiṇḍada Park in Jeta Grove in Śrāvastī.
如上説。差別者。 Like 12.34 above except for this:
若比丘修習此七覺分。 “Suppose a monk cultivates the seven factors of awakening.
多修習已。當得七果。 After often cultivating them, he’ll attain seven fruits.
何等爲七。 What are the seven?
謂現法智有餘涅槃。及命終時。不得現法智。 This refers to nirvāṇa with remainder when he attains knowledge in the present life and [nirvāṇa] at his life’s end when he doesn’t attain knowledge in the present life.
若不爾者。五下分結盡。得中般涅槃。 If that isn’t the case, he’ll end the five lower bonds and attain parinirvāṇa in the interim.
若不爾者。得生般涅槃。 If that’s not the case, then he’ll attain parinirvāṇa at birth.
若不爾者。得無行般涅槃。 If that’s not the case, he’ll attain parinirvāṇa without practice.
若不爾者。得有行般涅槃。 If that’s not the case, he’ll attain parinirvāṇa with practice.
若不爾者。得上流般涅槃。 If that’s not the case, he’ll attain parinirvāṇa upstream.”
佛説此經已。諸比丘聞佛所説。歡喜奉行 After the Buddha taught this sutra, the monks who heard what he taught rejoiced and handed it down.
