KatamÄni dve? What two?
ÄmisadÄnaƱca dhammadÄnaƱca. A gift of things of the flesh and a gift of the teaching.
ImÄni kho, bhikkhave, dve dÄnÄni. These are the two gifts.
Etadaggaį¹, bhikkhave, imesaį¹ dvinnaį¹ dÄnÄnaį¹ yadidaį¹ dhammadÄnanāti. The better of these two gifts is the gift of the teaching.ā
