AttabyÄbÄdhasutta Hurting Yourself
āTayome, bhikkhave, dhammÄ attabyÄbÄdhÄyapi saį¹vattanti, parabyÄbÄdhÄyapi saį¹vattanti, ubhayabyÄbÄdhÄyapi saį¹vattanti. āThese three things, mendicants, lead to hurting yourself, hurting others, and hurting both.
Katame tayo? What three?
KÄyaduccaritaį¹, vacÄ«duccaritaį¹, manoduccaritaį¹. Bad conduct by way of body, speech, and mind.
Ime kho, bhikkhave, tayo dhammÄ attabyÄbÄdhÄyapi saį¹vattanti, parabyÄbÄdhÄyapi saį¹vattanti, ubhayabyÄbÄdhÄyapi saį¹vattanti. These are three things that lead to hurting yourself, hurting others, and hurting both.
