KatamÄni tÄ«į¹i? What three?
Lobho nidÄnaį¹ kammÄnaį¹ samudayÄya, doso nidÄnaį¹ kammÄnaį¹ samudayÄya, moho nidÄnaį¹ kammÄnaį¹ samudayÄya. Greed, hate, and delusion are sources that give rise to deeds.
Yaį¹, bhikkhave, lobhapakataį¹ kammaį¹ lobhajaį¹ lobhanidÄnaį¹ lobhasamudayaį¹, taį¹ kammaį¹ akusalaį¹ taį¹ kammaį¹ sÄvajjaį¹ taį¹ kammaį¹ dukkhavipÄkaį¹, taį¹ kammaį¹ kammasamudayÄya saį¹vattati, na taį¹ kammaį¹ kammanirodhÄya saį¹vattati. Any deed that emerges from greed, hate, or delusionāborn, sourced, and originated from greed, hate, or delusionāis unskillful, blameworthy, results in suffering, and leads to the creation of more deeds, not their cessation.

Alobho nidÄnaį¹ kammÄnaį¹ samudayÄya, adoso nidÄnaį¹ kammÄnaį¹ samudayÄya, amoho nidÄnaį¹ kammÄnaį¹ samudayÄya. Contentment, love, and understanding are sources that give rise to deeds.
Yaį¹, bhikkhave, alobhapakataį¹ kammaį¹ alobhajaį¹ alobhanidÄnaį¹ alobhasamudayaį¹, taį¹ kammaį¹ kusalaį¹ taį¹ kammaį¹ anavajjaį¹ taį¹ kammaį¹ sukhavipÄkaį¹, taį¹ kammaį¹ kammanirodhÄya saį¹vattati, na taį¹ kammaį¹ kammasamudayÄya saį¹vattati. Any deed that emerges from contentment, love, or understandingāborn, sourced, and originated from contentment, love, or understandingāis skillful, blameless, results in happiness, and leads to the cessation of more deeds, not their creation.
