āCattÄrimÄni, bhikkhave, agatigamanÄni. āMendicants, there are these four ways of making prejudiced decisions.
KatamÄni cattÄri? What four?
ChandÄgatiį¹ gacchati, dosÄgatiį¹ gacchati, mohÄgatiį¹ gacchati, bhayÄgatiį¹ gacchatiāMaking decisions prejudiced by favoritism, hostility, stupidity, and cowardice.
ImÄni kho, bhikkhave, cattÄri agatigamanÄni. These are the four ways of making prejudiced decisions.

ChandÄ dosÄ bhayÄ mohÄ, If you donāt act against the teaching
yo dhammaį¹ nÄtivattati; out of favoritism, hostility, cowardice, and stupidity,
ÄpÅ«rati tassa yaso, your fame swells,
sukkapakkheva candimÄāti. like the moon in the waxing fortnight.ā
