Sammādiį¹­į¹­hisutta Right View

ā€œCatÅ«hi, bhikkhave, dhammehi samannāgato bhikkhu apaį¹‡į¹‡akappaį¹­ipadaį¹ paį¹­ipanno hoti, yoni cassa āraddhā hoti āsavānaį¹ khayāya. ā€œMendicants, when a mendicant has four things their practice is unfailing, and they have laid the groundwork for ending the defilements.

Katamehi catūhi? What four?

Nekkhammavitakkena, abyāpādavitakkena, avihiį¹sāvitakkena, sammādiį¹­į¹­hiyāā€”Thoughts of renunciation, good will, and harmlessness; and right view.

imehi kho, bhikkhave, catÅ«hi dhammehi samannāgato bhikkhu apaį¹‡į¹‡akappaį¹­ipadaį¹ paį¹­ipanno hoti, yoni cassa āraddhā hoti āsavānaį¹ khayāyāā€ti. When a mendicant has these four things their practice is unfailing, and they have laid the groundwork for ending the defilements.ā€
