Cakkavattiacchariyasutta Incredible Things About the Wheel-Turning Monarch

ā€œCattārome, bhikkhave, acchariyā abbhutā dhammā raƱƱe cakkavattimhi. ā€œMendicants, there are these four incredible and amazing things about a wheel-turning monarch.

Katame cattāro? What four?

Sace, bhikkhave, khattiyaparisā rājānaį¹ cakkavattiį¹ dassanāya upasaį¹…kamati, dassanenapi sā attamanā hoti. If an assembly of aristocrats goes to see a wheel-turning monarch, theyā€™re uplifted by seeing him

Tatra ce rājā cakkavattī bhāsati, bhāsitenapi sā attamanā hoti. and uplifted by hearing him speak.

Atittāva, bhikkhave, khattiyaparisā hoti, atha rājā cakkavattÄ« tuį¹‡hÄ« bhavati. And when he falls silent, theyā€™ve never had enough.

Sace, bhikkhave, brāhmaį¹‡aparisā rājānaį¹ cakkavattiį¹ dassanāya upasaį¹…kamati, dassanenapi sā attamanā hoti. If an assembly of brahmins ā€¦
