āAsappurisaƱca vo, bhikkhave, desessÄmi, asappurisena asappurisataraƱca; āMendicants, I will teach you an untrue person and an even more untrue person,
sappurisaƱca, sappurisena sappurisataraƱca. Taį¹ suį¹Ätha ā¦peā¦. a true person and an even truer person.
āKatamo ca, bhikkhave, asappuriso? And what is an untrue person?
Idha, bhikkhave, ekacco micchÄdiį¹į¹hiko hoti ā¦peā¦ micchÄƱÄį¹Ä« hoti, micchÄvimutti hoti. Itās someone who has wrong view, wrong thought, wrong speech, wrong action, wrong livelihood, wrong effort, wrong mindfulness, wrong immersion, wrong knowledge, and wrong freedom.
Ayaį¹ vuccati, bhikkhave, asappuriso. This is called an untrue person.
Katamo ca, bhikkhave, asappurisena asappurisataro? And what is an even more untrue person?
Idha, bhikkhave, ekacco attanÄ ca micchÄdiį¹į¹hiko hoti, paraƱca micchÄdiį¹į¹hiyÄ samÄdapeti ā¦peā¦ attanÄ ca micchÄƱÄį¹Ä« hoti, paraƱca micchÄƱÄį¹e samÄdapeti; Itās someone who has wrong view, wrong thought, wrong speech, wrong action, wrong livelihood, wrong effort, wrong mindfulness, wrong immersion, wrong knowledge, and wrong freedom. And they encourage others in these same qualities.
