āCattÄrimÄni, bhikkhave, kammÄni mayÄ sayaį¹ abhiĆ±Ć±Ä sacchikatvÄ paveditÄni. āMendicants, I declare these four kinds of deeds, having realized them with my own insight.
KatamÄni cattÄri? What four?
Atthi, bhikkhave, kammaį¹ kaį¹haį¹ kaį¹havipÄkaį¹; There are dark deeds with dark results;
atthi, bhikkhave, kammaį¹ sukkaį¹ sukkavipÄkaį¹; bright deeds with bright results;
atthi, bhikkhave, kammaį¹ kaį¹hasukkaį¹ kaį¹hasukkavipÄkaį¹; dark and bright deeds with dark and bright results; and
atthi, bhikkhave, kammaį¹ akaį¹haasukkaį¹ akaį¹haasukkavipÄkaį¹ kammakkhayÄya saį¹vattati. neither dark nor bright deeds with neither dark nor bright results, which lead to the ending of deeds.

Idha, bhikkhave, ekacco sabyÄbajjhaį¹ kÄyasaį¹
khÄraį¹ abhisaį¹
kharoti ā¦peā¦ idaį¹ vuccati, bhikkhave, kammaį¹ kaį¹haį¹ kaį¹havipÄkaį¹. Itās when someone makes hurtful choices by way of body, speech, and mind. These are called dark deeds with dark results.
KatamaƱca, bhikkhave, kammaį¹ sukkaį¹ sukkavipÄkaį¹? And what are bright deeds with bright results?
Idha, bhikkhave, ekacco abyÄbajjhaį¹ kÄyasaį¹
khÄraį¹ abhisaį¹
kharoti ā¦peā¦ idaį¹ vuccati, bhikkhave, kammaį¹ sukkaį¹ sukkavipÄkaį¹. Itās when someone makes pleasing choices by way of body, speech, and mind. These are called bright deeds with bright results.
