Caį¹…kamasutta Walking Meditation

ā€œPaƱcime, bhikkhave, caį¹…kame ānisaį¹sā. ā€œMendicants, there are five benefits of walking meditation.

Katame paƱca? What five?

Addhānakkhamo hoti, padhānakkhamo hoti, appābādho hoti, asitaį¹ pÄ«taį¹ khāyitaį¹ sāyitaį¹ sammā pariį¹‡Ämaį¹ gacchati, caį¹…kamādhigato samādhi ciraį¹­į¹­hitiko hoti. You get fit for traveling, fit for striving in meditation, and healthy. Whatā€™s eaten, drunk, chewed, and tasted is properly digested. And immersion gained while walking lasts long.

Ime kho, bhikkhave, paƱca caį¹…kame ānisaį¹sāā€ti. These are the five benefits of walking meditation.ā€
