āPaƱcahi, bhikkhave, dhammehi samannÄgato bhikkhu alaį¹sÄkaccho sabrahmacÄrÄ«naį¹. āMendicants, a mendicant with five qualities is fit to hold a discussion with their spiritual companions.

Idha, bhikkhave, bhikkhu attanÄ ca sÄ«lasampanno hoti, sÄ«lasampadÄya kathÄya ca Ägataį¹ paƱhaį¹ byÄkattÄ hoti; A mendicant is personally accomplished in ethics, and answers questions that come up when discussing accomplishment in ethics.
attanÄ ca samÄdhisampanno hoti, samÄdhisampadÄya kathÄya ca Ägataį¹ paƱhaį¹ byÄkattÄ hoti; Theyāre personally accomplished in immersion, and they answer questions that come up when discussing accomplishment in immersion.
