DutiyaanÄyussÄsutta Longevity (2nd)
āPaƱcime, bhikkhave, dhammÄ anÄyussÄ. āMendicants, these five things impede longevity.
Katame paƱca? What five?
AsappÄyakÄrÄ« hoti, sappÄye mattaį¹ na jÄnÄti, apariį¹atabhojÄ« ca hoti, dussÄ«lo ca, pÄpamitto ca. Doing what is unsuitable, not knowing moderation in what is suitable, eating food unfit for consumption, unethical behavior, and bad friends.
Ime kho, bhikkhave, paƱca dhammÄ anÄyussÄ. These are the five things that impede longevity.
