Muį¹į¹hassatisutta Unmindful
āPaƱcime, bhikkhave, ÄdÄ«navÄ muį¹į¹hassatissa asampajÄnassa niddaį¹ okkamayato. āMendicants, there are these five drawbacks of falling asleep unmindful and unaware.
Katame paƱca? What five?
Dukkhaį¹ supati, dukkhaį¹ paį¹ibujjhati, pÄpakaį¹ supinaį¹ passati, devatÄ na rakkhanti, asuci muccati. You sleep badly and wake miserably. You have bad dreams. The deities donāt protect you. And you emit semen.
Ime kho, bhikkhave, paƱca ÄdÄ«navÄ muį¹į¹hassatissa asampajÄnassa niddaį¹ okkamayato. These are the five drawbacks of falling asleep unmindful and unaware.
PaƱcime, bhikkhave, Änisaį¹sÄ upaį¹į¹hitassatissa sampajÄnassa niddaį¹ okkamayato. There are these five benefits of falling asleep mindful and aware.

Sukhaį¹ supati, sukhaį¹ paį¹ibujjhati, na pÄpakaį¹ supinaį¹ passati, devatÄ rakkhanti, asuci na muccati. You sleep at ease and wake happily. You donāt have bad dreams. The deities protect you. And you donāt emit semen.
