āPaƱcime, bhikkhave, ÄdÄ«navÄ kaį¹hasappe. āMendicants, there are these five drawbacks of a black snake.
Katame paƱca? What five?
Asuci, duggandho, sabhÄ«ru, sappaį¹ibhayo, mittadubbhÄ«. Itās filthy, stinking, cowardly, frightening, and treacherous.
Ime kho, bhikkhave, paƱca ÄdÄ«navÄ kaį¹hasappe. These are the five dangers of a black snake.
Evamevaį¹ kho, bhikkhave, paƱcime ÄdÄ«navÄ mÄtugÄme. In the same way there are five drawbacks of a female.
