Bhattuddesakasutta A Meal Designator
āPaƱcahi, bhikkhave, dhammehi samannÄgato bhattuddesako na sammannitabbo. āMendicants, a person with five qualities should not be appointed as meal designator.
Katamehi paƱcahi? What five?
ChandÄgatiį¹ gacchati, dosÄgatiį¹ gacchati, mohÄgatiį¹ gacchati, bhayÄgatiį¹ gacchati, uddiį¹į¹hÄnuddiį¹į¹haį¹ na jÄnÄti. They make decisions prejudiced by favoritism, hostility, stupidity, and cowardice. And they donāt know if a meal has been assigned or not.
Imehi kho, bhikkhave, paƱcahi dhammehi samannÄgato bhattuddesako na sammannitabbo. A person with these five qualities should not be appointed as meal designator.
