Balasutta Strength
āChahi, bhikkhave, dhammehi samannÄgato bhikkhu abhabbo samÄdhismiį¹ balataį¹ pÄpuį¹ituį¹. āMendicants, a mendicant who has six qualities canāt attain strength in immersion.

Idha, bhikkhave, bhikkhu na samÄdhissa samÄpattikusalo hoti, na samÄdhissa į¹hitikusalo hoti, na samÄdhissa vuį¹į¹hÄnakusalo hoti, asakkaccakÄrÄ« ca hoti, asÄtaccakÄrÄ« ca, asappÄyakÄrÄ« ca. Itās when a mendicant is not skilled in entering immersion, skilled in remaining in immersion, or skilled in emerging from immersion. And they donāt practice carefully and persistently, and they donāt do whatās suitable.
Imehi kho, bhikkhave, chahi dhammehi samannÄgato bhikkhu abhabbo samÄdhismiį¹ balataį¹ pÄpuį¹ituį¹. A mendicant who has these six qualities canāt attain strength in immersion.
