AssÄdasutta Gratification
āTayome, bhikkhave, dhammÄ. āMendicants, there are these three things.
Katame tayo? What three?
AssÄdadiį¹į¹hi, attÄnudiį¹į¹hi, micchÄdiį¹į¹hi. The view that things are gratifying, the view of self, and wrong view.
Ime kho, bhikkhave, tayo dhammÄ. These are the three things.
Imesaį¹ kho, bhikkhave, tiį¹į¹aį¹ dhammÄnaį¹ pahÄnÄya tayo dhammÄ bhÄvetabbÄ. To give up these three things you should develop three things.

AssÄdadiį¹į¹hiyÄ pahÄnÄya aniccasaĆ±Ć±Ä bhÄvetabbÄ, attÄnudiį¹į¹hiyÄ pahÄnÄya anattasaĆ±Ć±Ä bhÄvetabbÄ, micchÄdiį¹į¹hiyÄ pahÄnÄya sammÄdiį¹į¹hi bhÄvetabbÄ. You should develop the perception of impermanence to give up the view that things are gratifying; the perception of not-self to give up the view of self; and right view to give up wrong view.
Imesaį¹ kho, bhikkhave, tiį¹į¹aį¹ dhammÄnaį¹ pahÄnÄya ime tayo dhammÄ bhÄvetabbÄāti. These are the three things you should develop to give up those three things.ā
