AniccÄnupassÄ«sutta Observing Impermanence
āSattime, bhikkhave, puggalÄ ÄhuneyyÄ pÄhuneyyÄ dakkhiį¹eyyÄ aƱjalikaraį¹Ä«yÄ anuttaraį¹ puƱƱakkhettaį¹ lokassa. āMendicants, these seven people are worthy of offerings dedicated to the gods, worthy of hospitality, worthy of a religious donation, worthy of greeting with joined palms, and are the supreme field of merit for the world.

Idha, bhikkhave, ekacco puggalo sabbasaį¹
khÄresu aniccÄnupassÄ« viharati, aniccasaƱƱī, aniccapaį¹isaį¹vedÄ« satataį¹ samitaį¹ abbokiį¹į¹aį¹ cetasÄ adhimuccamÄno paƱƱÄya pariyogÄhamÄno. First, take a person who meditates observing impermanence in all conditions. They perceive impermanence and experience impermanence. Constantly, continually, and without interruption, they apply the mind and fathom with wisdom.
So ÄsavÄnaį¹ khayÄ ā¦peā¦ sacchikatvÄ upasampajja viharati. Theyāve realized the undefiled freedom of heart and freedom by wisdom in this very life, and live having realized it with their own insight due to the ending of defilements.
Ayaį¹, bhikkhave, paį¹hamo puggalo Ähuneyyo pÄhuneyyo dakkhiį¹eyyo aƱjalikaraį¹Ä«yo anuttaraį¹ puƱƱakkhettaį¹ lokassa. This is the first person.
Puna caparaį¹, bhikkhave, idhekacco puggalo sabbasaį¹
khÄresu aniccÄnupassÄ« viharati, aniccasaƱƱī, aniccapaį¹isaį¹vedÄ« satataį¹ samitaį¹ abbokiį¹į¹aį¹ cetasÄ adhimuccamÄno paƱƱÄya pariyogÄhamÄno. Next, take a person who meditates observing impermanence in all conditions.
Tassa apubbaį¹ acarimaį¹ ÄsavapariyÄdÄnaƱca hoti jÄ«vitapariyÄdÄnaƱca. Their defilements and their life come to an end at exactly the same time.

Ime kho, bhikkhave, satta puggalÄ ÄhuneyyÄ pÄhuneyyÄ dakkhiį¹eyyÄ aƱjalikaraį¹Ä«yÄ anuttaraį¹ puƱƱakkhettaį¹ lokassÄāti. These are the seven people who are worthy of offerings dedicated to the gods, worthy of hospitality, worthy of a religious donation, worthy of greeting with joined palms, and are the supreme field of merit for the world.ā
