Paṭhamabandhanasutta Catching (1st)
“Aṭṭhahi, bhikkhave, ākārehi itthī purisaṁ bandhati. “Mendicants, a woman catches a man using eight features.
Katamehi aṭṭhahi? What eight?
Ruṇṇena, bhikkhave, itthī purisaṁ bandhati; With weeping,
hasitena, bhikkhave, itthī purisaṁ bandhati; laughing,
bhaṇitena, bhikkhave, itthī purisaṁ bandhati; speaking,
ākappena, bhikkhave, itthī purisaṁ bandhati; appearance,
vanabhaṅgena, bhikkhave, itthī purisaṁ bandhati; gifts of wildflowers,
gandhena, bhikkhave, itthī purisaṁ bandhati; scents,
rasena, bhikkhave, itthī purisaṁ bandhati; tastes,
phassena, bhikkhave, itthī purisaṁ bandhati. and touches.
Imehi kho, bhikkhave, aṭṭhahākārehi itthī purisaṁ bandhati. A woman catches a man using these eight features.
Te, bhikkhave, sattā subaddhā, ye phassena baddhā”ti. But those beings who are caught by touch are well and truly caught.”
