Saį¹yojanasutta Fetters

ā€œDasayimāni, bhikkhave, saį¹yojanāni. ā€œMendicants, there are ten fetters.

Katamāni dasa? What ten?

PaƱcorambhāgiyāni saį¹yojanāni, paƱcuddhambhāgiyāni saį¹yojanāni. The five lower fetters and the five higher fetters.

Katamāni paƱcorambhāgiyāni saį¹yojanāni? What are the five lower fetters?

Sakkāyadiį¹­į¹­hi, vicikicchā, sÄ«labbataparāmāso, kāmacchando, byāpādoā€”Substantialist view, doubt, misapprehension of precepts and observances, sensual desire, and ill will.

imāni paƱcorambhāgiyāni saį¹yojanāni. These are the five lower fetters.
