Tadāhaį¹ sattarajjesu, Then in all seven kingdoms

Yaį¹ me āsi upāyanaį¹; what I receieved as tribute

Tena demi mahādānaį¹, I used to give a great gift

Akkhobbhaį¹ sāgarÅ«pamaį¹. unwavering as the ocean.

Na me dessaį¹ dhanaį¹ dhaƱƱaį¹, It was not because I disliked riches or grain,

Napi natthi nicayo mayi; or because I had a store set aside,

SabbaƱƱutaį¹ piyaį¹ mayhaį¹, but because omniscience is precious to me,

Tasmā demi varaį¹ dhananā€ti. that is why I gave such fine riches.ā€
