āAvÄ«tarÄgo kho, mahÄrÄja, rasapaį¹isaį¹vedÄ« ca rasarÄgapaį¹isaį¹vedÄ« ca bhojanaį¹ bhuƱjati, vÄ«tarÄgo pana rasapaį¹isaį¹vedÄ« bhojanaį¹ bhuƱjati, no ca kho rasarÄgapaį¹isaį¹vedÄ«āti. āOne who is not without attachment, your majesty, eats their food and experiences both the taste and the attachment to the taste. But the one who is without attachment eats their food and experiences just the taste and not the attachment to the taste.ā
āKallosi, bhante nÄgasenÄāti. āYou are clever, venerable NÄgasena.ā
