dhammatthasahitaį¹ padaį¹; a passage meaningful and principled,
Tathaį¹ yÄthÄvakaį¹ atthaį¹, I rationally reflected
yoniso paccavekkhisaį¹. on the true, essential goal.
NinhÄtasabbapÄpomhi, Iāve washed away all bad things;
nimmalo payato suci; Iām stainless, clean, pristine;
Suddho suddhassa dÄyÄdo, the pure heir of the pure one,
putto buddhassa oraso. a true-born son of the Buddha.
Ogayhaį¹į¹haį¹
gikaį¹ sotaį¹, When I plunged into the eightfold stream,
sabbapÄpaį¹ pavÄhayiį¹; all bad things were washed away.
Tisso vijjÄ ajjhagamiį¹, Iāve attained the three knowledges
kataį¹ buddhassa sÄsananāti. and fulfilled the Buddhaās instructions.
