“Piṇḍapātaṁ caritvāna, “As I was going for alms, I wandered for alms
daṇḍamolubbha dubbalā; leaning on a stick, though feeble, leaning on a staff.
Vedhamānehi gattehi, all my limbs trembled, My limbs wobbled
tattheva nipatiṁ chamā; and there I fell on the ground. and I fell to the ground right there.
Disvā ādīnavaṁ kāye, As I saw the danger in the body, Seeing the danger of the body,
atha cittaṁ vimucci me”ti. in that moment, my mind was liberated.” my mind was freed.
