āCatukkhattuį¹ paƱcakkhattuį¹, āFour times, five times, Four or five times
vihÄrÄ upanikkhamiį¹; I went outside. I left my dwelling.
AladdhÄ cetaso santiį¹, I had not attained peace of mind I had failed to find peace of heart,
citte avasavattinī. and I had no power over the mind. or any control over my mind.
SÄ bhikkhuniį¹ upagacchiį¹, I approached a bhikkhunÄ« I approached a nun
yÄ me saddhÄyikÄ ahu; whom I trusted. in whom I had faith.
SÄ me dhammamadesesi, She taught me the Dhamma: She taught me the Dhamma:
khandhÄyatanadhÄtuyo. the khandhas, elements, and sense domains. the aggregates, sense fields, and elements.
TassÄ dhammaį¹ suį¹itvÄna, I listened to her Dhamma, When I had heard her teaching,
YathÄ maį¹ anusÄsi sÄ; followed her instructions, in accordance with her instructions,
