āUcce kule ahaį¹ jÄtÄ, āI was Majjhaās daughter: I was born into an eminent family,
bahuvitte mahaddhane; well-born, affluent and wealthy,
Vaį¹į¹arÅ«pena sampannÄ, with much wealth and property, endowed with a beautiful complexion and figure;
dhÄ«tÄ majjhassa atrajÄ. endowed with beauty. Majjhaās true-born daughter.
PatthitÄ rÄjaputtehi, Sons of kings pursued me, I was sought by princes,
seį¹į¹hiputtehi gijjhitÄ; sons of wealthy merchants desired me. coveted by sons of the wealthy.
Pitu me pesayÄ« dÅ«taį¹, One sent out a messenger for my father: One sent a messenger to my father:
detha mayhaį¹ anopamaį¹. āGive me AnopamÄ! āGive me AnopamÄ!
Yattakaį¹ tulitÄ esÄ, However much she is worth, However much your daughter
tuyhaį¹ dhÄ«tÄ anopamÄ; your daughter AnopamÄ, AnopamÄ weighs,
Tato aį¹į¹haguį¹aį¹ dassaį¹, I will give you eight times as much Iāll give you eight times that
