ManonivÄraį¹asutta Shielding the Mind Reining in the Mind
āYato yato mano nivÄraye, āWhatever youāve shielded the mind from āFrom whatever one reins in the mind,
Na dukkhameti naį¹ tato tato; canāt cause you suffering. From that no suffering comes to one.
Sa sabbato mano nivÄraye, So you should shield the mind from everything, Should one rein in the mind from everything,
Sa sabbato dukkhÄ pamuccatÄ«āti. then youāre freed from all suffering.ā One is freed from all suffering. ā
āNa sabbato mano nivÄraye, āThe mind need not be shielded from everything, āOne need not rein in the mind from everything
