Bandhanasutta Bonds Bondage
“Kiṁsu sambandhano loko, “What binds the world? “By what is the world held in bondage?
kiṁsu tassa vicāraṇaṁ; How does it travel about? What is its means of travelling about?
Kissassu vippahānena, With the giving up of what What is it that one must forsake
sabbaṁ chindati bandhanan”ti. are all bonds severed?” To cut off all bondage?”
“Nandīsambandhano loko, “Delight binds the world. “The world is held in bondage by delight;
vitakkassa vicāraṇaṁ; It travels about by means of thought. Thought is its means of travelling about.
