āSaį¹yojaniye ca, bhikkhave, dhamme desessÄmi saį¹yojanaƱca. āMendicants, I will teach you the things that are prone to being fettered, and the fetter.

Katame ca, bhikkhave, saį¹yojaniyÄ dhammÄ, katamaį¹ saį¹yojanaį¹? What are the things that are prone to being fettered? And what is the fetter?
RÅ«paį¹, bhikkhave, saį¹yojaniyo dhammo; Form is something thatās prone to being fettered.
yo tattha chandarÄgo, taį¹ tattha saį¹yojanaį¹. The desire and greed for it is the fetter.
