Dukkhasutta Suffering

Ekamantaį¹ nisinno kho ÄyasmÄ rÄdho bhagavantaį¹ etadavoca: Seated to one side, Venerable RÄdha said to the Buddha:
āādukkhaį¹, dukkhanāti, bhante, vuccati. āSir, they speak of this thing called āsufferingā.
Katamaį¹ nu kho, bhante, dukkhanāti? What is suffering?ā
āRÅ«paį¹ kho, rÄdha, dukkhaį¹, vedanÄ dukkhÄ, saĆ±Ć±Ä dukkhÄ, saį¹
khÄrÄ dukkhÄ, viƱƱÄį¹aį¹ dukkhaį¹. āRÄdha, form, feeling, perception, choices, and consciousness are suffering.
