ā€œRÅ«pataį¹‡hā, bhikkhave, aniccā vipariį¹‡ÄmÄ« aƱƱathābhāvÄ«; ā€œMendicants, craving for sights is impermanent, decaying, and perishing.

saddataį¹‡hā ā€¦ Craving for sounds,

gandhataį¹‡hā ā€¦ craving for smells,

rasataį¹‡hā ā€¦ craving for tastes,

phoį¹­į¹­habbataį¹‡hā ā€¦ craving for touches,

dhammataį¹‡hā aniccā vipariį¹‡ÄmÄ« aƱƱathābhāvÄ«. and craving for ideas are impermanent, decaying, and perishing.

Yo, bhikkhave, ime dhamme evaį¹ saddahati adhimuccati, ayaį¹ vuccati ā€˜saddhānusārÄ« ā€¦peā€¦ Someone who has faith and confidence in these teachings is called a follower by faith. ā€¦ā€
