āgandhagandhe adhivatthÄ devÄ dÄ«ghÄyukÄ vaį¹į¹avanto sukhabahulÄāti. āThe gods who live in fragrant scents are long-lived, beautiful, and very happy.ā
Tassa evaį¹ hoti: They think:
āaho vatÄhaį¹ kÄyassa bhedÄ paraį¹ maraį¹Ä gandhagandhe adhivatthÄnaį¹ devÄnaį¹ sahabyataį¹ upapajjeyyanāti. āIf only, when my body breaks up, after death, I would be reborn in the company of the gods who live in fragrant scents!ā
