Samādhimūlakasappāyakārīsutta Conducive to Immersion

ā€œCattārome, bhikkhave, jhāyÄ«. ā€œMendicants, there are these four meditators.

Katame cattāro? What four?

Idha, bhikkhave, ekacco jhāyÄ« samādhismiį¹ samādhikusalo hoti, na samādhismiį¹ sappāyakārÄ«. One meditator is skilled in immersion but not in doing whatā€™s conducive to it. ā€¦ā€

Idha pana, bhikkhave, ekacco jhāyÄ« samādhismiį¹ sappāyakārÄ« hoti, na samādhismiį¹ samādhikusalo.

Idha pana, bhikkhave, ekacco jhāyÄ« neva samādhismiį¹ samādhikusalo hoti, na ca samādhismiį¹ sappāyakārÄ«.

Idha pana, bhikkhave, ekacco jhāyÄ« samādhismiį¹ samādhikusalo ca hoti, samādhismiį¹ sappāyakārÄ« ca.

Tatra, bhikkhave, yvāyaį¹ jhāyÄ« samādhismiį¹ samādhikusalo ca hoti samādhismiį¹ sappāyakārÄ« ca ayaį¹ imesaį¹ catunnaį¹ jhāyÄ«naį¹ aggo ca seį¹­į¹­ho ca mokkho ca uttamo ca pavaro ca.

Seyyathāpi, bhikkhave, gavā khÄ«raį¹ ā€¦peā€¦
