ā€œCattārome, bhikkhave, jhāyÄ«. ā€œMendicants, there are these four meditators.

Katame cattāro? What four?

Idha, bhikkhave, ekacco jhāyÄ« samādhismiį¹ į¹­hitikusalo hoti, na samādhismiį¹ vuį¹­į¹­hānakusalo. One meditator is skilled in remaining in immersion but not in emerging from it. ā€¦ā€

Idha pana, bhikkhave, ekacco jhāyÄ« samādhismiį¹ vuį¹­į¹­hānakusalo hoti, na samādhismiį¹ į¹­hitikusalo.

Idha pana, bhikkhave, ekacco jhāyÄ« neva samādhismiį¹ į¹­hitikusalo hoti, na ca samādhismiį¹ vuį¹­į¹­hānakusalo.

Idha pana, bhikkhave, ekacco jhāyÄ« samādhismiį¹ į¹­hitikusalo ca hoti, samādhismiį¹ vuį¹­į¹­hānakusalo ca.
