Ajjhattadukkhahetusutta Interior and Cause Are Suffering
āCakkhuį¹, bhikkhave, dukkhaį¹. āMendicants, the eye is suffering.
Yopi hetu yopi paccayo cakkhussa uppÄdÄya, sopi dukkho. The cause and reason that gives rise to the eye is also suffering.
DukkhasambhÅ«taį¹, bhikkhave, cakkhu kuto sukhaį¹ bhavissati ā¦peā¦ Since the eye is produced by what is suffering, how could it be happiness?
jivhÄ dukkhÄ. The ear ā¦ nose ā¦ tongue ā¦ body ā¦
Yopi hetu, yopi paccayo jivhÄya uppÄdÄya, sopi dukkho.
DukkhasambhÅ«tÄ, bhikkhave, jivhÄ kuto sukhÄ bhavissati ā¦peā¦
mano dukkho. mind is suffering.
Yopi hetu yopi paccayo manassa uppÄdÄya, sopi dukkho. The cause and reason that gives rise to the mind is also suffering.
Dukkhasambhūto, bhikkhave, mano kuto sukho bhavissati. Since the mind is produced by what is suffering, how could it be happiness?
