Atha kho aƱƱataro bhikkhu ā¦peā¦ Then a mendicant went up to the Buddha ā¦
etadavoca: and said to him:
ākathaį¹ nu kho, bhante, jÄnato kathaį¹ passato attÄnudiį¹į¹hi pahÄ«yatÄ«āti? āSir, how does one know and see so that view of self is given up?ā
āCakkhuį¹ kho, bhikkhu, anattato jÄnato passato attÄnudiį¹į¹hi pahÄ«yati. āMendicant, knowing and seeing the eye, sights, eye consciousness, and eye contact as not-self, view of self is given up. ā¦
