ParÄyanasutta The Haven
āParÄyanaƱca vo, bhikkhave, desessÄmi parÄyanagÄmiƱca maggaį¹. āMendicants, I will teach you the haven and the path that leads to the haven.

KatamaƱca, bhikkhave, parÄyanaį¹? And what is the haven?
Yo, bhikkhave, rÄgakkhayo dosakkhayo mohakkhayoāThe ending of greed, hate, and delusion.
idaį¹ vuccati, bhikkhave, parÄyanaį¹. This is called the haven.
Katamo ca, bhikkhave, parÄyanagÄmÄ« maggo? And what is the path that leads to the haven?
KÄyagatÄsati. Mindfulness of the body.
Ayaį¹ vuccati, bhikkhave, parÄyanagÄmimaggo. This is called the path that leads to the haven.
Iti kho, bhikkhave, desitaį¹ vo mayÄ parÄyanaį¹, desito parÄyanagÄmimaggo. So, mendicants, Iāve taught you the haven and the path that leads to the haven.
Yaį¹, bhikkhave, satthÄrÄ karaį¹Ä«yaį¹ sÄvakÄnaį¹ hitesinÄ anukampakena anukampaį¹ upÄdÄya, kataį¹ vo taį¹ mayÄ. Out of sympathy, Iāve done what a teacher should do who wants whatās best for their disciples.
EtÄni, bhikkhave, rukkhamÅ«lÄni, etÄni suƱƱÄgÄrÄni. JhÄyatha, bhikkhave, mÄ pamÄdattha; mÄ pacchÄ vippaį¹isÄrino ahuvattha. Ayaį¹ vo amhÄkaį¹ anusÄsanÄ«āti. Here are these roots of trees, and here are these empty huts. Practice absorption, mendicants! Donāt be negligent! Donāt regret it later! This is my instruction to you.ā
