āMicchattaƱca vo, bhikkhave, desessÄmi, sammattaƱca. āMendicants, I will teach you the wrong way and the right way.

KatamaƱca, bhikkhave, micchattaį¹? And what is the wrong way?
Seyyathidaį¹āmicchÄdiį¹į¹hi ā¦peā¦ micchÄsamÄdhi. It is wrong view, wrong thought, wrong speech, wrong action, wrong livelihood, wrong effort, wrong mindfulness, and wrong immersion.
Idaį¹ vuccati, bhikkhave, micchattaį¹. This is called the wrong way.
KatamaƱca, bhikkhave, sammattaį¹? And what is the right way?
Seyyathidaį¹āsammÄdiį¹į¹hi ā¦peā¦ sammÄsamÄdhi. It is right view, right thought, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, and right immersion.
Idaį¹ vuccati, bhikkhave, sammattanāti. This is called the right way.ā
