ā€œMicchattaƱca vo, bhikkhave, desessāmi, sammattaƱca. ā€œMendicants, I will teach you the wrong way and the right way.

Taį¹ suį¹‡Ätha. Listen ā€¦

KatamaƱca, bhikkhave, micchattaį¹? And what is the wrong way?

Seyyathidaį¹ā€”micchādiį¹­į¹­hi ā€¦peā€¦ micchāsamādhi. It is wrong view, wrong thought, wrong speech, wrong action, wrong livelihood, wrong effort, wrong mindfulness, and wrong immersion.

Idaį¹ vuccati, bhikkhave, micchattaį¹. This is called the wrong way.

KatamaƱca, bhikkhave, sammattaį¹? And what is the right way?

Seyyathidaį¹ā€”sammādiį¹­į¹­hi ā€¦peā€¦ sammāsamādhi. It is right view, right thought, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, and right immersion.

Idaį¹ vuccati, bhikkhave, sammattanā€ti. This is called the right way.ā€
