evameva kho, bhikkhave, bhikkhuno sattannaį¹ bojjhaį¹

gamaį¹ etaį¹ pubbanimittaį¹, yadidaį¹āyonisomanasikÄro. In the same way, for a mendicant rational application of mind is the forerunner and precursor of the arising of the seven awakening factors.
