Yasmiį¹, bhikkhave, samaye ariyasāvako aį¹­į¹­hiį¹ katvā manasi katvā sabbaį¹ cetaso samannāharitvā ohitasoto dhammaį¹ suį¹‡Äti, imassa paƱca nÄ«varaį¹‡Ä tasmiį¹ samaye na honti. Satta bojjhaį¹…gā tasmiį¹ samaye bhāvanāpāripÅ«riį¹ gacchanti. ā€œMendicants, sometimes a noble disciple pays attention, applies the mind, concentrates wholeheartedly, and actively listens to the teaching. At such a time the five hindrances are absent, and the seven awakening factors are fully developed.

Sensual desire, ill will, dullness and drowsiness, restlessness and remorse, and doubt.
