āCatÅ«su, bhikkhave, satipaį¹į¹hÄnesu suppatiį¹į¹hitacittÄ viharatha. āMendicants, you should meditate with your mind firmly established in the four kinds of mindfulness meditation.
MÄ vo amataį¹ panassa. Donāt let freedom from death escape you.
Katamesu catūsu? What four?
Idha, bhikkhave, bhikkhu kÄye kÄyÄnupassÄ« viharati ÄtÄpÄ« sampajÄno satimÄ, vineyya loke abhijjhÄdomanassaį¹; Itās when a mendicant meditates by observing an aspect of the bodyākeen, aware, and mindful, rid of covetousness and displeasure for the world.
