KusalarÄsisutta A Heap of the Skillful
āāKusalarÄsÄ«āti, bhikkhave, vadamÄno cattÄro satipaį¹į¹hÄne sammÄ vadamÄno vadeyya. āRightly speaking, mendicants, youād call these four kinds of mindfulness meditation a āheap of the skillfulā.
Kevalo hÄyaį¹, bhikkhave, kusalarÄsi, yadidaį¹ācattÄro satipaį¹į¹hÄnÄ. For these four kinds of mindfulness meditation are entirely a heap of the skillful.
Katame cattÄro? What four?
Idha, bhikkhave, bhikkhu kÄye kÄyÄnupassÄ« viharati ÄtÄpÄ« sampajÄno satimÄ, vineyya loke abhijjhÄdomanassaį¹; Itās when a mendicant meditates by observing an aspect of the bodyākeen, aware, and mindful, rid of covetousness and displeasure for the world.
