Duggatibhayasutta Fear of the Bad Place

ā€œCatÅ«hi, bhikkhave, dhammehi samannāgato ariyasāvako sabbaduggatibhayaį¹ samatikkanto hoti. ā€œMendicants, a noble disciple who has four things has gone beyond all fear of being reborn in a bad place.

Idha, bhikkhave, ariyasāvako buddhe aveccappasādena samannāgato hotiā€”Itā€™s when a noble disciple has experiential confidence in the Buddha ā€¦

itipi so bhagavā ā€¦peā€¦ satthā devamanussānaį¹ buddho bhagavāti.

saį¹…ghe ā€¦peā€¦ the Saį¹…gha ā€¦

ariyakantehi sÄ«lehi samannāgato hoti akhaį¹‡įøehi ā€¦peā€¦ samādhisaį¹vattanikehi. And they have the ethical conduct loved by the noble ones ā€¦ leading to immersion.

Imehi kho, bhikkhave, catÅ«hi dhammehi samannāgato ariyasāvako sabbaduggatibhayaį¹ samatikkanto hotÄ«ā€ti. A noble disciple who has these four things has gone beyond all fear of being reborn in a bad place.ā€
