ā€œCattārimāni, bhikkhave, devānaį¹ devapadāni avisuddhānaį¹ sattānaį¹ visuddhiyā apariyodātānaį¹ sattānaį¹ pariyodapanāya. ā€œMendicants, these four footprints of the gods are in order to purify unpurified beings and cleanse unclean beings.

Idha, bhikkhave, ariyasāvako buddhe aveccappasādena samannāgato hotiā€”Firstly, a noble disciple has experiential confidence in the Buddha ā€¦

itipi so bhagavā ā€¦peā€¦ satthā devamanussānaį¹ buddho bhagavāti.

Idaį¹ paį¹­hamaį¹ devānaį¹ devapadaį¹ avisuddhānaį¹ sattānaį¹ visuddhiyā apariyodātānaį¹ sattānaį¹ pariyodapanāya. This is the first footprint of the gods in order to purify unpurified beings and cleanse unclean beings.

Puna caparaį¹, bhikkhave, ariyasāvako dhamme ā€¦peā€¦ Furthermore, a noble disciple has experiential confidence in the teaching ā€¦

Puna caparaį¹, bhikkhave, ariyasāvako ariyakantehi sÄ«lehi samannāgato hoti akhaį¹‡įøehi ā€¦peā€¦ samādhisaį¹vattanikehi. Furthermore, a noble discipleā€™s ethical conduct is loved by the noble ones, unbroken, impeccable, spotless, and unmarred, liberating, praised by sensible people, not mistaken, and leading to immersion.
