Taį¹ kissa hetu? Why is that?

Nesā, bhikkhave, kathā atthasaį¹hitā nādibrahmacariyakā na nibbidāya na virāgāya na nirodhāya na upasamāya na abhiƱƱāya na sambodhāya na nibbānāya saį¹vattati. Because those discussions arenā€™t beneficial or relevant to the fundamentals of the spiritual life. They donā€™t lead to disillusionment, dispassion, cessation, peace, insight, awakening, and extinguishment.

Kathentā ca kho tumhe, bhikkhave, ā€˜idaį¹ dukkhanā€™ti katheyyātha, ā€˜ayaį¹ dukkhasamudayoā€™ti katheyyātha, ā€˜ayaį¹ dukkhanirodhoā€™ti katheyyātha, ā€˜ayaį¹ dukkhanirodhagāminÄ« paį¹ipadāā€™ti katheyyātha. When you discuss, you should discuss: ā€˜This is sufferingā€™ ā€¦ ā€˜This is the origin of sufferingā€™ ā€¦ ā€˜This is the cessation of sufferingā€™ ā€¦ ā€˜This is the practice that leads to the cessation of sufferingā€™. ā€¦
