2.15 Samathavāra How each offense is settled

Kāyasaį¹saggaį¹ sādiyanapaccayā āpattiyo sattannaį¹ samathānaį¹ katihi samathehi sammanti? When it comes to the offenses that are a result of consenting to physical contact, through how many of the seven principles for settling legal issues are they settled?

Kāyasaį¹saggaį¹ sādiyanapaccayā āpattiyo sattannaį¹ samathānaį¹ tÄ«hi samathehi sammantiā€”Through three of them:

siyā sammukhāvinayena ca paį¹­iƱƱātakaraį¹‡ena ca, siyā sammukhāvinayena ca tiį¹‡avatthārakena ca ā€¦peā€¦. they may be settled by resolution face-to-face and by acting according to what has been admitted; or they may be settled by resolution face-to-face and by covering over as if with grass. ā€¦
