Paññāvuddhisutta
The Growth of Wisdom
“Cattārome, bhikkhave, dhammā paññāvuddhiyā saṁvattanti.
“Mendicants, these four things lead to the growth of wisdom.
Katame cattāro?
What four?
Sappurisasaṁsevo, saddhammasavanaṁ, yonisomanasikāro, dhammānudhammappaṭipatti—
Associating with true persons, listening to the true teaching, rational application of mind, and practicing in line with the teaching.
Ime kho, bhikkhave, cattāro dhammā paññāvuddhiyā saṁvattantī”ti.
These four things lead to the growth of wisdom.”
Chaṭṭhaṁ.
