“Saccaṁ kirevamāhaṁsu,
The truth, it seems, was spoken
narā ekacciyā idha;
by certain people here—
Kaṭṭhaṁ niplavitaṁ seyyo,
better a floating log
na tvevekacciyo naro”ti.
