Phusatisutta
Impact It Touches
“Nāphusantaṁ phusati ca,
“It doesn’t impact a person who doesn’t impact others.
“It does not touch one who does not touch,
phusantañca tato phuse;
It impacts a person because they impact others.
But then will touch the one who touches.
Tasmā phusantaṁ phusati,
That’s why it impacts one who impacts,
Therefore it touches the one who touches,
appaduṭṭhapadosinan”ti.
who wrongs one who’s done no wrong.”
The one who wrongs an innocent man. ”
“Yo appaduṭṭhassa narassa dussati,
“Whoever wrongs a man who’s done no wrong,
“If one wrongs an innocent man,
Suddhassa posassa anaṅgaṇassa;
a pure man who has not a blemish,
A pure person without blemish,
Tameva bālaṁ pacceti pāpaṁ,
the evil backfires on the fool,
The evil falls back on the fool himself
Sukhumo rajo paṭivātaṁva khitto”ti.
