Ajitattheragāthā
Ajita
“Maraṇe me bhayaṁ natthi,
I do not fear death;
nikanti natthi jīvite;
nor do I long for life.
Sandehaṁ nikkhipissāmi,
I’ll lay down this body,
sampajāno paṭissato”ti.

Tassuddānaṁ
Cūḷavaccho mahāvaccho,
vanavaccho ca sīvako;
Kuṇḍadhāno ca belaṭṭhi,
dāsako ca tatopari;
Siṅgālapitiko thero,
kulo ca ajito dasāti.
